The movie "2012" is just the biggest one to come along so far.
If ATI/AMD has a better bang for the buck card than the GF275, why should tomshardware include the GF275?They'd be doing you a dis-service by recommending a card that is a worse value.Of course it's biased. A review is supposed to show bias, if it was neutral it would be worthless.Now if nVidia had a better line of cards right now, it would be unfair bias, but they simply don't. They can't compete with ATI/AMD's new 5xxx series, not even close. Hopefully nVidia will come back into the game when they release the 300 series.And btw, nVidia doesn't have a DX11 card, but ATI/AMD does. The 5xxx series is DX11.

My thoughts? I don't question whether green is good for me - obviously, anything that reduces the pollution in the air I breathe or the water I drink is good for me. It's not ***** difficult - obviously I depend on a healthy environment to survive. What I question is whether or not a product labeled "green" actually makes a significant difference. For example - you have the local vs. organic debate. Do I buy vegetables grown locally or do I buy organic vegetables grown in Argentina? Obviously, run-off containing pesticides and fertilizers is a problem, but is it more of a problem than the pollution that results from burning the fossil fuels required to transport these "organic" vegetables thousands of miles? It's not that I have a problem with going green. It's that I have a problem with going "green," or in other words, simply buying into whatever the label promises with no effort made whatsoever in the fact-checking department.

@plastikfracture, you honesty think that Apple will let major retailers use Ultrasn0w to unlock iPhones for customers?You think that the development team at Apple will let that happen and not provide their own official unlock tool?I wonder how long till the official unlock software leaks on torrent sites and the like. |
