Nothing wrong with the "What's in it for me?" question.Self-interest is the most reliable of human motivations. I always find this debate so interesting. I remember in my human geography class watching propaganda films about "Big Farm" and how I should buy "organic," and that video was brought to you by a business that OMGZ sells organic food!The Green business is just like ANY other business pitch. I hate to break it to you guys, but organic farmers and businesses going green aren't doing so out of the goodness of their hearts- they do it because it is profitable. "Greenbiz.com" is just like any other business trying to sell their product, only their main commercial pitch is that buying their product will save the world. The whole "green" movement is just a BRILLIANT advertising campaign.And no, I don't have anything against the Green movement. If you want to spend a little extra for organic food and pay a little bit more for hybrid cars, I fully believe you have the right to do so. In short, everybody often responds with the question "What's in it for me?"

Actually this is still true.Starbucks (or other major chains, Tullys, Peetes, Caribou, Seattles Best...etc) uses very average quality beans, and over roasts them, giving them a slightly bitter, but strong flavor.Coffee should actually be viewed more like a steak. You would never ask for a high quality steak to be well done. 'Well done' in this case means burnt, and imparting the smoky-grilled flavor. In a high quality steak you want to impart as little flavor as possible, and unlock the natural flavor.Same is true with coffee. If you have a cheap coffee, burn the hell out of it so it is bitter and nasty. If you have a high quality coffee you should roast it light, so when you are drinking it, you are tasting the coffee, not the 500 degrees.*also, 500 degrees is a pretty high temp. at my shop we usually go up to 470 for a good lighter roast.
This is backwards - I usually find that reviews and scores are inflated! Perhaps becose most of them are little more than adverts for the games they 'review'.

Well, I guess I wasn't limiting it to consoles. I meant anything electronic that played games.I mean I loved the 2600 at the time, but things just got better from there. Colecovision, c64, NES, PC...It just kept getting awesomer.

I've been burned by Windows Mobile/CE too many times. I'm done.Interesting to note, the Dreamcast is a stellar example of what can be done with Windows CE. You get SEGA doing their thing and it works (unless you forget DVD capability LOL). A lot depends on the implementation. But like the DC, it doesn't matter how good or what potential you have, you need a good business model backing it up. Like an App store. Or open-source development. Google integrated. Things of that nature. What does WM offer me? Rebooting isn't all that entertaining. Other than that...nope. That's why I have an iPhone and my kid has a Motorola Q.
